This floor sign identifies the half door swing area to help keep people safe. It says VORSICHT – SCHWINGTURBEREICH on it to alert people who speak that language of the risk of the door opening in that direction. In many facilities it can be quite dangerous for people who are carrying potentially heavy or dangerous items to go through a door because while they are reaching for it, someone on the other side may push it open. This can result in the person dropping the items and getting injured.
Having this floor sign in place will remind people that whenever they are within the half door swing marking they could get hit by the door if someone were to open it. While this is a fairly simple thing it can really help keep your employees safer and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries caused by the door swinging open.
