How Thermal Transfer Printers Works

The Benefits of Simple Peel Edge Thermal transfer printers work by using heat to transfer solid ink from the ribbon onto the label supply. As the ribbon passes through the print head and platen, the ink is bonded to the label supply (or other material) with heat and pressure, creating a permanent print.

The use of heat to activate pigment is what makes thermal transfer printers unique from other printers. Since there are not many moving parts, thermal transfer printers are easier to maintain and tend to last longer. The labels they create are better able to withstand heat, weather, chemicals, water, and other harsh conditions.

The ProX is easy to use and if we do have any issues tech support is awesome. The ProX has increased our equipment visibility and saved a lot of man hours looking for things, along with increased efficiency over the Brady we were using before, labels are quick and easy to make and considerably better quality at a lower price. We have replaced 4 Brady machines with the ProX model and couldn’t be happier.

My experiences with the Label Maker from Creative Safety Supply

All of my works are carried in glove box where there is a very harsh environments in terms of chemicals, radiological, and low oxygen. As result, we had a problem with labeling. Labelling containers and samples with sharpies or label makers purchased from a retail store can last 3-4 months and we have to relabel again and again. When I was searching better labeling system, I found the printer (Label Maker) from the Creative Safety Supply and I purchased immediately. The printer is shipped with inks and paper plus software with thousands of templates. Thirty minutes after I opened the box, I started printing hundreds self-adhesive labels. I relabeled every containers, bags, and items in 2017. Today is 2021, those labels from 2017 still look like a brand new, and there is no degradation and fainting. Their printer costs more than a printer purchased from a retail stores, but we have saved many labor hours and money that the printer recovers its cost within a week. Their printers are worthy for every dollar you pay. Creative Label Supply has many different kinds of printer to fit any budget. Very happy with the Pro-X printer and my ability now to produce labels as they are needed. I am still learning how to use the system since I don't have daily requirements and don't spend a lot of time with it. But overall my experience is very positive.

I ordered a Labeltac Pro X from Creative Safety Supply online for an electrical contractor. I was introduced to the Labeltac Pro X recently from a customer for labeling MCCs, panels, transformers, etc. The company I work for decided to order one for the same purpose, but utilize our own label maker for other customers. The label maker our customer uses is awesome and the one we ordered is just the same! I made a mistake in ordering the wrong ribbon, but David W., our rep., gave me a call, letting me know the issue, and fixed our order to be shipped out! When the label maker and supply came in, there was an issue with one of the label SmartSupply end caps. I contacted support and the issue was resolved within minutes! David is awesome and I cannot thank him enough for the help! We will most certainly be using Creative Safety Supply for future orders and I would recommend the company and David as well! PS: Thank you for the pen and Skittles!
