The RLD15B is an A2L certified refrigerant detector, equipped with a heated sensor to increase accuracy and reduce false alarms. It's display provides approximate leak sizes and includes a digital leak size indicator to help pinpoint leak sources. Finally, the mechanical pump draws gas over the sensor faster providing a quick response in a variety of contaminated or windy environments.

The RLD15B also features a Detection Threshold. It's built-in sensor is sensitive enough to detect gases at or below 5 g/a (grams per annum) for various classes; HFCs (Hydrofluorocarbons), HFOs (Hydrofluoroolefins), and HCFCs (Hydrochlorofluorocarbons).
