Notice: Emergency Use Only - Wall Sign
A wall sign that says, “Notice: Emergency Use Only” can be a very effective way to ensure people are not using specific doors unless it is an emergency. This is a common need for companies that have fire exits or other similar things. Limiting the number of doors that people use on a regular basis can be very important for ensuring security of a facility or to limit when and how often the doors are opened and closed. Locking doors, however, is not usually a safe option because of the fact that emergencies do happen.
Putting up this wall sign will allow a facility to prevent people from using the doors when it is not an emergency while still allowing people to get in or out when it is critically necessary. Placing these signs on the actual doors, or the walls near them, will give an easy to see indication that the doors should not typically be in use.
