How are Warehouse Floors Numbered?

Virtually every warehouse is going to have a lot of rows where different items can be stored. To ensure everything can be found when it is needed, these rows will typically be numbered. In many cases, the different storage compartments within each row will also be numbered or identified with other systems. There are many different ways that warehouse floors can be numbered, but the important thing is that they are identified in some way that is easy to understand and track.

Warehouse managers need to do more than just decide that row number one is in a set location and that each row after that goes up incrementally from there.
