Glow in the Dark Tape
Mark evacuation routes
in low-light areas.
Glow-in-the-dark tape can be used to mark safe lanes for pedestrians in a factory or warehouse, highlight dangerous locations, or lead people to destinations through poorly lit areas. This type of photoluminescent tape can enhance organization and improve safety.
Most tapes glow for several hours after the lights are turned off.
These products can be used to make steps or the rungs of ladders more visible.
Glow tape is also used on stages where lights are quickly turned off, leaving a group of performers to exit in complete or partial darkness.
These tapes can also be used on objects such as forklifts, racks, barrels, or anything movable that might be in an unexpected place to warn people who are moving through the area in low light situations, especially within an hour of lights going out.
This tape is not a replacement for adequate lighting and should not be used as a replacement for light, but instead as an emergency backup or in situations where full light would destroy some critical aspect of production such as in a theater or while using photo reactive chemistry to develop photographs.
Please speak to our customer service representatives about your specific application and which tape you are considering buying. We want to make sure your use is safe, effective, and does not compromise your activity. Since we are discussing "lights out" situations, please also consult OSHA guidelines to make sure your application falls within their requirements for low or no light situations.
